The proprietary drivers install smoothly. I want to switch to the proprietary NVidia and have attempted multiple times to install the suggested nvidia-driver-460 (and also nvidia-driver-390 just in case) using software-properties-gtk. Running Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04 and now 20.04 on this machine, always with the Nouveau driver until now. I have a Dell Precision Tower 3620 with the following graphics card:Ġ1:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107GL (rev a2)
